The Food: We ordered takeout as usual. The food was awesome. PRIME RIB and omg the sweet potato fries are AMAZING. However..... I sent my daughter in to pick it up because the parking in this plaza gets crazy. She is 10 years old. She said that the managers were talking about SEX and they werent even trying to whisper about it. I asked her what they specifically said and she said it was too embarrassing that she didn't even want to tell me. I am not saying MY daughter leads a sheltered life and I am sure she's heard stuff at school. However, come on..this is OUTBACK and you are EMPLOYEES! I immediately called the manager who..get this...WAS ONE OF THE PEOPLE talking!

How quickly things change... Food undercooked, salads with wrong dressings, no pork chops (after waitress boomed about new menu). Same manager... Could care less. Nothing off bill. Keep driving!

Tonight I had a bad experience here at outback steak house. I ordered the chicken quesadilla without mushrooms. I wasn't that satisfied with it. The outside was overly cooked and had a burnt taste to it. Inside was the best. The cheese just flowed off the chicken and bacon. Yumm yummm I just kinda picked at it for a few. The chicken was still tender. I didn't eat the whole thing. The serve Joe was a real joy to have as a server. I got my first wine on happy hour. He let me know a head of time that my second one wasn't on happy hour which was totally fine. Thank you for respecting the cost of the wine and letting me know it was more expensive. I would so go back and give it another try just cause the service was great!! Thank you again Joe from outback.

Never have to return to this restaurant. We have had multiple bad experiences here, but the last tops them all. We entered and the entire dining room had dirty tables and the hostess didn't want to wipe them down she said to grab a seat in the lounge there was not a single clean table there either, once we mentioned it she seemed annoyed to have to wipe one off. I ordered a glass of wine and it came out with lipstick on it (it, happens, I understand), but once I was brought a new one there was a piece of some sort of food floating in it. I was beyond disgusted and no longer wanted the wine. Once our meals came my boyfriends medium steak came out rare with the wrong sides and my medium rare steak came out as well done with only one of my sides which happened to be broccoli from the 1900's it was so old, rock hard and cold you could have heard it hit the floor. When we asked for a manager they did not seem apologetic at all said they would comp the check ox our food up ( the food that was horrible and made wrong let me remind you) and that we could be on our way. Not even offering if we would like something else to eat since we still had not even had any dinner yet. Anyways we will not be returning its a shame we can't have more people that care in the industry.

Another one bites the dust, sigh. Disclosure-I'm a "Tea drinking right winger conservative", that being said, the Outback has gone the route of big corp chain restaurants and is pinching pennies in every way possible. Cutting back quality, less servers it seems, and my most hated-"Marketing", by which I mean having a huge delicious picture of a dish on the menu, and sending out a small dried up disappointment. I can handle slow service, it doesn't make my meal any better, but I was a server once. If they're busy, it is what is it. However, when they have two tables and spend 80% of the time out of view in the kitchen, that's not busy, it's chit chatting in the back of house. BTW, do not get the blooming onion, it used to be awesome, now it looks and tastes like something fried in used motor oil. Overdone and dripping grease. If you love heartburn, you'll love the new bloomin onion. Short rib nachos? On the menu you'll see a vast expanse of of chips, cheese, meat, and scallions. What you'll see placed in front of you is a 4 inch wide by ten inch long plate with fried potato slices with, and I swear on my mother's life, Cheeze Whiz or that stuff at 7/11 you get for free when you buy nachos. Again, I am not making this up. I would tell you to try it for yourself, but the whole point of me writing this is to warn against it.... The meat was good, all two ounces of it. Chips were soggy, guessing it sat under the salamander for a while.... The salad is served on a little tiny plate, because it's a little tiny salad.(Fun fact-using small dishes makes it appear as though there is a larger portion of food than there really is) They cut back on the dressing so much you don't even get a ramekin anymore, the salad dressing nazi working in the back meters out the allowed portion right onto your dish before it's brought out to you. Oh, the black bread they bring out was stale/dry, not enough to cause most people to send it back, it was just at the point they could still serve it. I give them credit, you saved food from the dumpster, and at the same time, reduced foods costs because unless someone is starving, they won't reorder as many as if they were fresh loaves. Cliffs-shitty service, food not worth the premium over something like the ale house or chilis, find another place. I can't think of another time I spent 50 bucks between two people for dinner and we both left hungry.

We'll I tried is Outback twice in the past month. And will not try again. The first visit we walked out after the waiter without any Hello said "ready to order." I said would like to order a glass of wine first. Reply " s#%t" And slams down the menu. Needless to say we left and had a fab meal at J Alexander's. Thinking that was a one off...attempted again on a fairly busy Saturday night. While our server did not make any mistakes it was just not an enjoyable experience in any way. The food was so underwhelming My hand hurt from attempting to saw my meat into eatable pieces most of which ended up in the dog bowl. Lesson learned. Stay away from this outback

Horrible. Ridiculous. Unbelievable. 3 steaks that took upwards of 45 minutes to put out, all had to go back for being under cooked. Completely unacceptable!!! Btw management is super flaky, and unlegit!!!

I am a big fan of their flame grilled ribeye. It's fatty and well-seasoned. Don't forget the bloomin' onion if you're hungry and with friends.

We went here last night Thursday for dinner. I been coming to outback Steak house for over 15 years. And this will probably be my last time dining at outback. We seated or selves near the bar area which is self seating. The server greeted us promptly took are beverage order and we also ordered a appetizer of the Coconut Shrimp To share. She put that order in and brought us are drinks and bread. Then came back and took are entree order. We then received are coconut shrimp they where Greasy and the batter on the shrimp was falling off and it was slightly cold. We both ordered the outback special a 6oz and a 9oz. I got a salad with mine it was so small it much have been only 4 oz of romaine and almost as much crotons. Dressing was very garlicky are entrees of meat where do right temperature but over seasoned and my mashed potato's was so small I thought it was for a child. My Mom green beans was about enough for a child also. Outback has to me kept there prices low and the quality has gone down over the years with some of there products. And they are cutting cost to where we left feeling a little hungry after living a Steak House that has now gone down hill. We did get a check back by are server on are entree. But not the shrimp. She was friendly and nice. I did mention to her that is this cut of meat a 9oz she said yes. But it still looks smaller to me. I also ordered it MR. I'm sorry to say this will be are last time back at any Outback is the Quality and the Quantity has gone Way Down Hill Me

I went there with my family and neighbors. Our server Jarvis and Jack were great. They were very polite and chill people. They checked up on us constantly to see if we needed anything. The burger was juicy and loaded with flavor. Phenomenal wait staff, phenomenal food! Definitely will be back

I usually love Outbacks in the US and Canada. The last time I went was last year in Fort Lauderdale on Federal Highway, the one with the lousy parking lot, I ordered a porter house steak medium rare, the first one came out completely well done, I told the waiter, he apologized and said he have another one done, the second steak was grey almost raw and chewy, I could not eat it, I told the waiter and he said there was nothing he could do, I asked for the manager he never showed up, my wife, who by the way had finished eating 30 minuted before I started, we both got up, paid and left. I will never go back.EVER

Went to outback for a birthday, and it was a great experience ! The waiter was well mannered , food was excellent , and the decor was nice. The waiter along with other staff brought out a dessert and sang happy birthday. Even before we left, the manager wished a happy birthday ! Very nice establishment , and I most likely will be back.

I came here for lunch and the restaurant was not full. The host greeted us and told us we could sit anywhere in the bar area. The bartender greeted us with coasters and our server then took our drink order in which I had one customization to remove the bacon from my California Chicken Sandwich. The soup was not served warm and then the sandwich was missing the tomato and lemon aioli sauce. The food runner left us without roll ups and so I patiently waited for the server to return to inform her of the mistake. Although the server was friendly, she was not attentive. We had to ask for our check after our meal and then she was not prepared with a pen. The restaurant seemed understaff, manger less and the bar area smelled like the bar mats had not been cleaned for awhile. I will not go back to this location, Bloomin Brands needs to reevaluate the management at this location because it puts a bad taste in my mouth to visit an Outback again.

I don't know why I come here. Every time I do I wish I hadn't. Corporate should do a reboot. Just bad!!! The food just blah. Why when I order the steakhouse Martini that is described on the menu as a Kettle One martini with 3 Large olives, that I get a martini with a lemon slice, no olives? Then when the waiter sees my reaction he proceeds to tell me that that is the steakhouse martini. O by the way, that was 15 minutes after I ordered it. Never Again!!!!

Disgusting experience in the bathroom. Manager told me that snowbirds that move down for the winter do ont flush the toilet and they need to clean the bathroom every ten minutes. I must have walked in at the 9-minute mark. Of course this ruined the rest fo the night. I was with a large party, so we all ate there. Food and servie was good.

Today was my 3rd time at this outback. Service from our specific waiter was good but don't get seated near the hostess stand cause that's where they all hang out. This particular one also serves a different version of the blue cheese chop salad which isn't as good as it should be. This location also has that soggy mildew bar smell. I gave it 3 chances I won't be going back.

This is the best Outback I have ever been to. There was a long wait, but we managed to snatch up a bar table as soon as we walked in, which was great! The servers were superb! Not only was ours excellent, but every other one that walked by our table was awesome as well. The service was better than at a 5 star place. It really was that good! Food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. I wish I could give the place 6 stars!

Ok we stumbled in here after a day at the beach drinking- this location sucks- the service ummm was pretty non existent it took the waiter 18 min to bring us drinks and we were only drinking at this point ice teas. Me and the boy ordered filets and mashed potatoes and umm the filets were flat like a piece of paper and the mashed potatoes were runny I'd skip this location all in all

If you enjoy highly over salted steaks and young incompetent staff this is your place. Even the side were over salted or bland. It's over hyped and food quality has dive over the years. Sorry. We won't be back

Of course TASTY, of course HIGH in every possible calorie intake BUT always fresh and delicious. Service is good and quick, beer is cold and place is nice and clean. If you just get an entrée it comes either with soup or salad, so trust me you got a lot of food. AMAZING onion soup!!

Brought out wrong lobster then my ribeye tasted like it was very bad, then we got butter spilt over all of us. Still not upset, though.. The fact they didn't at least take one meal off the ticket because 2 of the 3 meals were messed up really kinda upset me. Just bad customer service. We were all eating at different times, totally ruined the whole atmosphere. We still tipped the waitress 18% despite the mishaps, can't blame her that the cook has no idea how to cook a steak or follow an order.

Ordered food online for pick up took them 10 mins to bring food to car then I get home one of the items I ordered was not in the bag checked the receipt and I definitely paid for it. I call them they tell me the kitchen never made it but they will now. Told the lady I don't want to come back refund my card she gave me an attitude told me I will still have to come back she needs the card. She says shes getting the manager she gets back on the phone and pretended to be the manager I told her I will stop by the following day she said fine and hung up. Get to the restaurant the next day met the real manager who had no idea what I was talking about but said she would refund the money she takes my card and receipt comes back with my card no receipt tells me I'm all set. Here I am 3 weeks later still not refund and they definitely took their money plus the tip I originally left. Horrible service and average food.

Absolutely the worst steak ever. We just tried to finish our Memorial Day treat. The only thing remotely edible was the salad and blooming onion. We ordered medium steaks, received well done+++. The dogs will not even taste them. Waste of $60. We asked for loaded baked potatoes, received plain. The to-go server seemed lost in thought both on the phone and in person. S/he forgot most of the details of our order (5:30 pm today) and had to ask my name over and over. I was a loyal customer of this chain for more than 20 years, but not anymore. Look at all the other reviews here an other chains: Outback is clearly in the decline.

As I'm sure we all know, Outback is one of the largest of all steakhouse chains seemingly with locations all over the place. Though not a fan of chain anything, I've dined at a lot of them and generally found them to be pretty good. Unfortunately this particular Outback is not one of the better. Though seemingly clean, neat, and well organized I seem to have consistently and always had less than desirable experiences here. They pride themselves on meats done as ordered, even have a nice like colored chart describing exactly what is meant by rare, medium rare, medium, medium well done and so forth. I've been here on three different occasions, on each ordering their ribeye done rare, and on each occasion it has been served somewhere between medium (no red center to it) to medium well done. Though on each occasion my waiter or waitress has inquired about my steak, which I have cut into, shown them and they have offered to take it back, I've declined. Nice of them to ask and offer, but unless the food is inedible I'm not inclined to send anything back. Matter of fact, I'm more inclined to just pay up, consider it a lesson learned, and leave. Also on my visits here I've noted them seem to somehow shifted around as to who your waiter or waitress is and who actually serves, which has twice resulted in the problem of my salad order not being delivered prior to my entrée, which has meant that I've ended up on both occasions having my Caesar side salad after my main course, sort of a being a substitute for what would have been my dessert. Hence in comparing this Outback, not with other competitive steak houses but with other Outback restaurants, Two Stars.

Went there for dinner on Saturday night and was very surprised that it was not very crowded. Hostess and waitress was very friendly. We ordered drinks and an appetizer before ordering our dinner. My drink which was a frozen rum runner was not good at all. The drink tasted more like water than anything else. The waitress did take it back and brought me another one but it still was not good but I said nothing. The appetizer was slightly greasy which was the onion petals that is on the drinks and snack portion of their menu. The steaks however were very good and cooked exactly as we asked. The waitress however was extremely nice, constantly coming by to make sure that we were fine and asking if we needed anything else.

We went there at 2:00PM this past Saturday and were very dissatisfied at the service, steak and surrounding. Place was dark and felt unclean. One had a ribeye steak and was over cooked. The lettuce salad was not crisp. I had the fried lobster and shrimp appetizer and it was greasy and the dipping sauce tasted canned. Been to many Outbacks but this was the worst. No manager was on duty or if so they were AWOL.

  • Doug W.

Service is the worst we have experienced in a long time. My wife was discouraged to order the carrot cake because it was too big. I wanted to try the all you eat shrimp add on but was told he could only bring one at a time. Ok understood but then he never came back to check on us until both meals were finished. Then offer to try to get two orders of shrimp put in. Oh and the appetizer didn't come out until after the salads. Drinks, ice tea and beer both empty for a while. Twice. The one star goes to the cook for consistency. The food was good. Service is horrible. Still here waiting for the second order of shrimp. Table 9. Our server is William E. Certain he will be looking for a job soon. Hope it's not in food or customer service of any kind. Lastly. When the salads for the large table next to arrived. One was supposed to be a Cesar it was not. Rather than just replacing it William first let them know he specifically reported the order back and knew this was what was ordered. Really !!!!

I hate writing bad reviews... So let me begin with the positive. This Outback had no wait time and we were immediately attended to from the moment we walked through. The tables were clean and the ambiance was great. When our waited came he took our drink order, appetizer and we asked for some bread. About 15 mins later we still did not have anything. A couple then sat next to us. They ordered and received their drinks and bread. Still nothing on our end. Finally, I asked him again. He brings our beers that looked as they had been sitting there, same with our cheese fries. Maybe 10 minutes later our dinner arrives. Except he never brought us our soups. Once we begin eating our entrees he then brought them. To top it off I found something in my mash potatoes. It seemed to be a plastic wrapper. After that I was over it! He brought the manager that told me it could've been an onion skin.:... No it wasn't. After asking what I wanted... I just simply wanted the check and that removed. He did. We left. Maybe this was a bad night for them but service was terrible and to add finding something in your food not good at all :(

Slow service. Food look so good but test doesn't like look may be I order wrong order Steak may be better. We order Mahi and salmon. Even I told them don't over cook still too too dry. I will be back again if I want steak but not for anything else

Probably the worst Outback I've ever picked up from. I've also eaten at this location once and it was a 3 star event, but picking up from here is a 1 star experience. In fact, I will NEVER do it again. After having to call 5 times to get someone to answer the phone (that should've been my first indication) I finally placed my order and was told it would be ready in 25-30 mins, which was fine since I was driving home from Boca. When I arrived BOTH curbside to go parking spots were occupied (one had been occupied for several hours I was informed later) so I had to drive around this parking lot and look for another spot. The parking lot is an absolute nightmare. I drove around for a good 10 mins, it's so bad Outback even has a valet (which had about 15 people waiting on it).... it's so BAD that people get out of the car and scout for parking spaces and then stand in them until their car/driver arrives so they can 'save the parking spot'. I finally got the farthest possible spot (of course!!!), walk to the side of the restaurant and the freaking door for the food pickup is LOCKED. So, now I have to walk all the way around, fight off the throngs of people outside, go to the hostess stand, ask where it is, then walk through the restaurant to get the food. Thankfully it was ready and it was delicious but man I'll never go through that experience again! I would avoid this particular location! Next time I'll go to the one off of 17th Street Cswy

Well, Outback has given away one too many Bloomin Onions I guess so they have tried to make up for it in other areas. Worst food Ive had in years. This franchise has really lost its way. Chicken wings were fried to a crisp...so much so that there was only skin left, no meat. I had to drink the blue cheese to sustain myself. Salad lacked one of the most important ingredients, vegetables. Service in bar area was equally as bad. I will never come here again....well may be after a larger conglomerate from UAE bails them out of bankruptcy. Please do yourself a favor and try to frequent a local nonfranchise .. establishment in the greater Pompano area.

The worst outback I ever been . The service was bad and the food was cold and when we told them they said we don't know why the food is cold . We ask for manager and he never showed up . What the hell

    (1)
  • Kris M.

The booth/bar area smells terrible. The waiter asked for our order before even bringing a child's menu for me to use for my 6 year old. They didn't have crayons for her to use to color the menu and keep her occupied. The portions are seriously smaller than even a year ago. An 8 oz tenderloin is $23. I ordered it medium rare and it was rare. The baked potato came with everything on it, although I wasn't asked what toppings I wanted. It was half the size it used to be and cold and hard on the inside. It was so cold the butter didn't melt. My salad came after I already received my steak and potato - only because I asked why it never came. Water was never served although promised. Outback is seriously going downhill....

  • Pam D.

The service is so slow every single time I have been to this outback.. we sat at our table for almost 15 minutes without being acknowledged so I had to get up and go to the hostess stand to ask if we had a server. The food is not that great either.. ordered steak medium and it was definitely WELL done. Outback needs to figure something out here.. terrible.

well---lunch menu better than dinner, my fish tacos with aioli was good, told the alice spring chicken was good, told the steak and pot. was good BUT told the hamburger was very bland, dry ,no wood fire taste ( ? meat) we did have dinner there 2wks ago. only good thing was coconut scrimp. the others scrimp dishes were sub-par,, much smaller than picture

This is a very poorly run Outback location, seriously where is the management? I have been to this spot several times and usually sit at the bar where I had the chance to observe most of the staff either watching the TVs at the bar or socializing among themselves with out any care for waiting customers. Other than the blond bubbly girl bartender who is very attentive, everyone one else in the staff couldn't have been more unprofessional, she kept asking for someone to help her clear the bucket of dirty dishes that were accumulating and everyone just ignored her and either kept on watching TV or walked away, including a guy that appeared to be a manager. This went on for about the entire hour I was there, I was so frustrated so for her! She was the only one tending to customers, clearing plates dirty glasses, and everyone else completely ignored her request for help. The slacking also takes place in the kitchen because our appetizers took a very long time to come out. I have also been to dinner with my family one night, it was 5 of us and again service was very slow and unresponsive, several of our orders came out wrong and it was just an overall bad experience. This location needs a complete re-do, they need a manager that cares and staff that is there to work and not socialize.

Steaks are poorly cooked. Like rubber or hockey pucks My wife's original cut steak was as dry as mud and my sister in laws ribeye was cooked so dry the meat was a hockey puck. We left there grossed out and angry! Do not order the steaks!

    (1)
  • Edward E.

Appetizers and salads were great..... steaks were cooked inconsistent. .... we all ordered medium well, but every steak was cooked differently..... All the same size and cut as well..... from bleeding bright red blood to well done all the way through.....had to send the bleeding one back.... The highlight was our server..... she was extremely nice, polite, and a very hard worker...... she was great and made the experience enjoyable.

The menu and food has improved a lot since they have redesigned the interior of the restaurant. The steak tacos are a new favorite. The French onion soup even tasted better than before and better than other Outback restaurants. However, service was slightly lacking. Our waiter would not come by as often as necessary or would ignore us when we would signal him, even though he was done with other customers at a table nearby.

I ordered curbside. Simple order a chicken breast sandwich with a baked potato ... Chicken sandwich was on a stale roll hard as a rock. And the potato was barely cooked lol also hard as a rock. I don't know why I waist my money there it's alway awful ... It's line they don't care!!

My how the mighty have fallen. 20 years ago probably the best steak for the price. These days I feel like I'm eating at The Sizzler the steaks are so bad. And exactly what did they do to their Prime Rib that used to be spectacular and now is horrible? The service is typically spotty at best, don't expect anything resembling service if you sit in the bar area. Usually start the night with a couple high school girl hostesses who seem annoyed you interrupted their conservation by wanting a table. They inform you it will probably be half an hour even though looking around you can usually see half a dozen dirty tables that anybody could clean and set up RIGHT NOW if you could find anyone with a little initiative. Even the Bloomin' Onion, which used to be my favorite part of an Outback meal is now a greasy, soggy mess. Long gone is the crispy, light wonderful tasting onion thing that I used to love. Same goes for the Walkabout Soup (which used to be a creamy onion soup) which is now a pasty sad tasting mess. It's a shame, this is hardly the first or the last local eatery that used to taste great and now has gone to the birds as food quality, service and taste have gone downhill while prices have gone up. Really only the salads have stayed consistently good and I just don't care enough about salads for that to make a difference. It's not quite a McSteak yet, but it's getting closer every day.

Awful service. In fact, I'd call it spectacularly terrible. I am hard pressed to find a "big name" restaurant with as poor service as this Outback that my business partner and I visited. It was all inclusive too, the service was miserable from the host, to the servers. Do yourself a favor and go almost anywhere else

    (1)
  • Helder D.

No wait for a seat, huge advantage coming in after the dinner rush. A bit disappointed in the size of the Aussie fries, used to fill a full size plate now it comes out on a much smaller plate with room around it. In this case, less is more? Profit I guess! Waiter was good, pleasant and definitely earned the 20% tip. Kudos to the kitchen staff, the ribeye was AWESOME!!! You nailed it cooking it perfectly medium well. Good service, good food, but a corporate Nimrod came up with an idea to keep charging the same or a little more but give less. Way to go, appreciate that!!

5 Star this place is awesome! Was told there was a 15 minute wait but got seated right away. quick drink and food order and the food was made exactly how I asked it to be. had a male server and he was very friendly.

I placed an order online, arrived 20 minutes later, and then waited another 20 minutes at the restaurant. I got home to dine on an incomplete meal (they forgot my side dish). The food I did receive was overly salty and overcooked.
